Available OS and features

Currently, all servers run under Linux OS. Windows is not provided.

The following distributions are available for installation on virtual servers:

• Alma Linux 9,
• CentOS 9 Stream,
• Debian 11,
• Debian 12,
• Fedora 39 (only with LXC),
• Rocky Linux 8 (except LXC),
• Rocky Linux 9,
• Ubuntu 20.04 LTS,
• Ubuntu 22.04 LTS,
• Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

You can choose the OS both during service ordering and in a special menu on the page of an existing service. Note that OS reinstallation deletes all data on the server.

For the KVM line (without LXC option), full OS kernel management is available. With the LXC option, basic Linux kernel modules, Nesting (VM nesting) and TUN/TAP are available, which is more than enough for an ordinary consumer.

Windows OS

Windows family operating system can be installed upon request if the server has at least 4 GB RAM and the LXC option is not used.
